August 25, 2013

Authorities are looking for a 21-year-old man after a teen boy was stabbed Saturday night in Enumclaw.

The incident happened in the 19000 block of Southeast 408th Street around 9:30 p.m.

Police responded to the location after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries and was in stable condition late Saturday night.

King County Sheriff’s officers and a K-9 unit searched the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him.

The incident happened around a campfire, Tim Perciful of the King County Fire District said. The stabbing happened after an argument broke out, and the suspect fled the scene.
