Amber Galaz of Lakewood was chosen Supreme Bethel Honored Queen at the July international convention for Job’s Daughters in Oakland, Calif. She will hold the title until August 2014.
Her duties include representing Job’s Daughters while traveling to other countries and throughout the U.S. She is the second person from Washington to hold this title since 1969.
Job’s Daughters is an international organization for girls and young women between the ages of 10 and 20. Members complete service projects, arrange fun activities and travel.
Galaz, a recent graduate of Curtis High School, is enrolled at Pierce College.
