Two displaced after Maple Valley house fire

A couple was displaced after a fire greatly damaged their Maple Valley home and garage late Monday, according to Maple Valley Fire.

Crews from three departments responded about 10:20 p.m. to the 20700 block of Southeast 287th Street and found the garage fully engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the house and another nearby building.

Firefighters extinguished the flames. A cause has not been determined.

No injuries were reported.
