The St. Louis Rams wrap up their preseason slate searching for a win as they host the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens at the Edward Jones Dome.
The Rams fell to 0-3 in exhibition play this season when Demaryius Thomas caught a six-yard touchdown from Peyton Manning after an impressive 80-yard drive to help the Denver Broncos earn a 27-26 preseason win over the Rams.
St.Louis' Kellen Clemens threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Zach Potter with 1:56 to go in the fourth, but the Rams failed on a two-point conversion that would have given them the lead. St.Louis was also unsuccessful on the ensuing onside kick
Sam Bradford finished 9-of-16 for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Rams.
Baltimore, meanwhile, suffered its first loss in the preseason after Ted Ginn Jr. ran back a punt 74 yards for a score and the Carolina Panthers added three defensive touchdowns in a 34-27 preseason win over the Ravens.
Two of the defensive TDs came when Joe Flacco was running Baltimore's offense. Flacco completed 18-of-24 passes for 169 yards with a TD and two picks and played into the third quarter. Ray Rice rushed for 62 yards and a score for the Ravens.
Thursday's game marks the second-consecutive season and third time in four years that the Ravens have visited St. Louis in Week 4 of the preseason. The Rams have won all three previous preseason meetings between the two clubs.
