Seahawks make 4 roster moves, cut down to 75

Wide receiver Percy Harvin was present but couldn't suit up at the Seattle Seahawks preseason camp at their facility in Renton, Saturday July 27, 2013. Coach Pete Carroll has confirmed Harvin has a slight labrum tear.

As expected, the Seattle Seahawks made a couple roster moves to get down to 75 players by this afternoon’s league deadline.

The Seahawks placed receiver Percy Harvin (hip), rookie cornerback Tharold Simon (foot) and defensive lineman Greg Scruggs (knee) on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. All three players began training camp on the active PUP list.

Under the new rules for the PUP list, the player has to sit out the first six games of the year.
