Staff writerSeptember 11, 2013

Federal Way police are searching for a 51-year-old woman who walked away from a residential care facility early Wednesday morning.

Pamela Sauro was last seen at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday at the facility in the 29900 block of Second Place Southwest. She was wearing a knee-length pink nightgown.

Sauro is considered an endangered missing person because she suffers from a “severe medical condition,” police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said.

Sauro is described as white, 5 feet 1 inch tall and 160 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
