Police find no victims after report of shooting near Lincoln Park

Police at Lincoln Park in Tacoma are investigating a report of a shooting there about 4 p.m. Monday, spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

Officers found no victims at the park, she said, which is by Lincoln High School at South 37th Street and South G Street in Tacoma.

Investigators are working to gather evidence and develop suspect information, Cool said.

Tacoma Public Schools spokesman Dan Voelpel said Lincoln High was on a temporary lockdown after the reported shooting.
