Kent detectives are asking the public to help identify a man they say robbed a Chase Bank about 4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at 13207 SE. 272th St. in Kent's East Hill area.

Police said the suspect handed a teller a note that implied he had a gun, though no weapon was seen, and then fled on foot with cash.

The man is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, and 6 foot with a medium build.

He was wearing a flannel shirt over a grey hooded sweatshirt, black converse shoes and dark sunglasses.

He may have had light facial hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kent police tip line at 253-856-5808.
