Clover Park Tech hosts grand opening for new health sciences building

— Clover Park Technical College will hold a grand opening at 2 p.m. Friday for its new Health Sciences Facility.

The 55,000-square-foot building will house more than 2,000 students who are training for careers in fields such as nursing and surgical technology.

The new building is designed to exceed LEED Silver environmental standards and features solar panels, a medicinal herb roof garden and water bottle refill stations.
