Delivery driver robbed on Tacoma's 6th Avenue

Tacoma police are searching for two men who robbed a delivery driver outside a Sixth Avenue business Thursday morning.

The holdup happened about 11:50 a.m. in an alley in the 6000 block of Sixth Avenue. Two men, one of them holding a silver handgun, approached the delivery driver and demanded cash and other items.

The victim was not injured.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects. Both suspects were black. One was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall with short hair and wearing a white T-shirt. The second was 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
