The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to a hit-and-run collision that hurt a man Tuesday night in Gig Harbor.

About 8 p.m., a dark-colored car hit a pedestrian on state Route 302 just south of 154th Street NW and fled.

The car likely has a broken right passenger side mirror and other damage to the right front of the vehicle, trooper Guy Gill said.

The man who was hit is expected to survive.

Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call the State Patrol at 253-538-3174.
