Search crews are looking for a 68-year-old Auburn man who has been missing since Saturday, when he left home to pick mushrooms near Packwood.
The mans family reported him missing Sunday, according to Lewis County Sheriffs Department. His family believed he was headed somewhere between Interstate 90 and Packwood.
His vehicle was found Tuesday afternoon on Forest Service Road 4715, about five miles northwest of Packwood.
Search crews which include ground crews, all-terrain vehicles and tracking dogs - looked for the man for six hours Tuesday night and resumed their search about 6 a.m. today.
A sheriffs spokeswoman said the man is an experienced mushroom picker but did not have the equipment to be outside for more than a few hours, especially with high winds and rain over the weekend. He had a small amount of food with him.
