3 residents, 2 dogs displaced by Kent house fire

A house fire Tuesday in the East Hill area of Kent displaced three adults and two dogs.

The fire was reported just before 3 p.m. in the 13000 block of Southeast 282nd Way.

One man was taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, according to Kent Fire.

Firefighters found flames on the upper level of the two-story home and were able to quickly put them out, but smoke damage spread throughout the house.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
