Authors Anne and Laurence Yeadon-Jones will talk about boating in the South Sound during a program Monday night in Gig Harbor.
The pair wrote “Puget Sound — A Boater’s Guide,” the seventh Dreamspeaker guidebook, featuring Gig Harbor and other South Puget Sound destinations.
This edition looks at the most southerly and protected boating region in the Sound. The book provides information on marinas, state parks, protected anchorages and communities.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event. It’s also available at Mostly Books, Finholm Market and Ship to Shore or via the author’s website at dreamspeakerguides.com.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Tides Tavern. For more information, call the city of Gig Harbor at 253-853-3554.
