Minor injuries when vehicle hits 2 pedestrians at 19th and Mildred in Tacoma

A vehicle hit two pedestrians about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday as they were crossing South Mildred Street just north of South 19th Street, according to police.

The pedestrians suffered minor injuries, and were not transported to the hospital, Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

The driver stayed at the scene, Cool said.
