Another closure planned for Puyallup River Bridge this weekend

Staff writerOctober 17, 2013

The Puyallup River Bridge on state Route 167 will again be inspected this weekend, prompting traffic delays as crews close lanes during the work.

Workers will close the northbound lane at 4 a.m. Saturday and reduce SR 167 to one lane in each direction while finish the bridge inspection, which started last weekend, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Both lanes will be routed over the parallel southbound SR 167 bridge.

The work is scheduled to be complete by noon Saturday but crews said it could take longer.
