More closures on SR 167 Puyallup River Bridge this weekend

Staff writerOctober 25, 2013

Drivers planning to cross the Puyallup River Bridge on northbound state Route 167 this weekend, be warned.

Crews will continue their regular inspection of the bridge this weekend and next weekend.

The northbound lane will close from 4 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday while crews clean and inspect the structure, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Expect the same closure Nov. 2.

Crews will reconfigure the parallel southbound bridge to allow one northbound and one southbound lane across the river.
