Alpine Experience will host a showing of the Teton Gravity Research film “The Way of Life” Nov. 8.

“This is snow porn the way it was meant to be, and we’re showing it the way it was meant to be shone — not in a huge theater with fancy equipment — we’re doing it in store, in the back room, grass-roots style,” store owner Joe Hyer said.

The event will be from 7-10 p.m. at Alpine Experience’s North Showroom. The store is at 408 Olympia Ave., Olympia. The movie will be shown about 8 p.m. There also will be food, beverages and door prizes.

Seating is limited to 100 people. Passes are $10 and are on sale at Alpine Experience.

For more information, contact the store at 360-956-1699 or alpinex.com.
