Man dies when car hits concrete barrier on I-5 in Seattle

A Seattle man died after the car he was driving Friday on Interstate 5 spun 90 degrees and hit a concrete barrier in Seattle, according to the State Patrol.

Mesay Asfaw, 32, was heading north just after 7 p.m., when the 1997 Green Toyota Corolla he was driving wrecked at I-5 near exit 163.

He was wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said.

Troopers were investigating what caused the crash.
