Staff writerOctober 28, 2013

An Eatonville man was injured Monday when the BMW he was driving left state Route 7 and rolled just south of Elk Plain, the State Patrol said.

The 55-year-old was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center.

Trooper Guy Gill said the man was in serious condition.

The crash happened just after 8:30 a.m. as the green 1996 BMW 318i was heading south on SR7 (also known as Mountain Highway East) at Weiler Road East.

Speed was a factor in the crash, Gill said.

Troopers said no drugs or alcohol were involved.
