A mobile enrollment tour for Washington’s new online marketplace for health care will visit the Tacoma Mall on Saturday.
Enrollment workers from the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department and its community partners will answer questions and help people sign up for health coverage. Workers also will help people without insurance understand the new health plans.
A trailer equipped with laptops connected to Washington’s state-run Healthplanfinder will be at the mall from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The event will be in the mall’s east parking lot facing Sears and J.C. Penney.
The state’s exchange reported last week that 35,528 Washingtonians had signed up for coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
