Gig Harbor’s Kailyn Tovey tallied the lone goal for the Tides, who clinched back-to-back Narrows 4A girls soccer titles with a 1-0 victory over South Kitsap in Port Orchard.

Maloree Miller had a hat trick, Morgan Roan added two more goals, and Rogers closed the SPSL South girls soccer season with a 6-0 victory over Bethel at Sparks Stadium.

Ashleigh Cade’s goal in the 42nd minute proved to be the winner, and Bonney Lake held on to second place in the SPSL 3A girls soccer standings with a 2-1 victory over Enumclaw, which stayed in third place.

Host Fife (14-2) upended defending Class 2A state girls soccer champion Sumner (13-2-1) on penalty kicks to earn a share of the league title by defeating the Spartans, 1-0.

A day after scoring her 100th career goal, Eatonville’s Machaela Graddy added two more, and the host Cruisers ended Nisqually League play undefeated with a 6-0 victory over Life Christian.

Capital snapped Tumwater’s 28-match league winning streak in volleyball by taking down the Thunderbirds, 25-17, 18-25, 25-21, 25-23, to earn the Evergreen Conference 2A’s top seed to next week’s district volleyball tournament. Rachel Erickson had 12 kills and six blocks for the Cougars.
