Today (Nov. 1) is the deadline for citizens to submit an application to the Tacoma School District to write voter’s pamphlet statements either supporting or opposing two Tacoma school levies that will appear on the Feb. 11, 2014 ballot.
Election regulations require the school district to solicit citizens who want to represent the “For” and “Against” committees in the official voter’s pamphlet.
If you want to be considered, e-mail your name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address to Dan Voelpel, Public Information Director, at email@example.com.
Identify whether you want to support or oppose the levy for educational programs and operations and/or the levy for school technology improvements and upgrades. You may apply for membership to more than one committee.
