B y the numbers Of the women who said they hunted last year, that percentage reported hunting for deer at least once. That is according to “Women in the Outdoors 2012,” from Southwick Associates. Rounding out the list of target species were turkey (33 percent), small game (30 percent), coyote (18 percent), hog (16 percent), waterfowl (14 percent), upland game (12 percent), elk (10 percent) and dove (8 percent).
