Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium offers career day for students

Students from sixth grade through college can participate in Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium’s Career Day on Saturday.

Attendees will see firsthand what it takes to be a zookeeper, zoo veterinarian, marine biologist or environmental educator. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. with activities from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration is not required.

Admission to the zoo and career day activities are free for students. Those younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. For more information, go to www.pdza.org/career-information.
