Computer kiosks available at 4 schools

November 4, 2013

Four Tacoma schools have new computer kiosks designed to help families access school district information, including grades, attendance and homework assignments.

The kiosks have been installed at McCarver and Sherman elementary schools and at Baker and Mason middle schools. The pilot project is aimed at families who might not have a computer at home.

The project will run for a month, and district officials will then decide whether to expand the program.
