The News TribuneNovember 4, 2013

The Association of Washington School Principals will sponsor a bilingual regional workshop to teach leadership skills to Latino middle school students at Washington High School, in the Franklin Pierce School District, on Nov. 20.

The one-day event, called La Chispa, uses both English and Spanish to help students build self-confidence, strengthen cultural identity, promote the value of being bilingual and increase academic success.
