Sheriff's deputies ask public to help identify suspects in car prowl, credit card fraud and residential burglary

Pierce County sheriff's deputies are asking the public to help identify one or more suspects in a vehicle prowl and related credit card fraud and residential burglary, according to Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers.

Investigators say a suspect stole a purse from a vehicle about 7:30 a.m. Oct. 4th on 109th Avenue Court East in South Hill.

One of the credit cards in the purse was used by the pictured suspect about 8:05 a.m. at a Timberland Savings Bank and a nearby Safeway gas station on Meridian Avenue East, according to Crime Stoppers.

Sometime between then and 12:15 p.m., keys stolen were used to burglarize the victim's home on 14th Avenue South in Tacoma, investigators said. 

A black and silver Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun was among the things stolen, Crime Stoppers said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 253-591-5959. Tips are anonymous and can lead to a reward.
