It was instant friendship during an unexpected play date. Marshall Schaffer, 2, came to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium on Halloween dressed in a tiger costume. That caught the attention of Kali, a Sumatran tiger cub who ran and played beside the tot on the other side of the pane of glass. The cub imitated her new friend's movements, playfully swiping and loping back and forth as they frolicked for more than two minutes. Marshall's mother filmed their impromptu play date and posted it on Reddit. The video has been viewed more than 89,000 times.
