Lowell ceremony will dedicate Dahl Drive

November 11, 2013

Lowell Elementary School will host a dedication ceremony in honor of its new address — and the man whom that address honors.

Lowell’s new address is 810 Mr. Dahl Drive, in honor of Lowell’s longtime principal Bob Dahl, who died in 2012.

Students petitioned the city to rename the 800 block of North 13th Street. Lowell is the only address on the block.

The Lowell community will celebrate the name change from 4-5 p.m. Nov. 18, which was Dahl’s birthday. New street signs will be unveiled. A reception will follow in the school gym.
