Crews work throughout day to restore power to Orting, Graham

UPDATE as of 6 p.m. Of the 1,050 left without power in Orting and Graham, crews expect all to be restored by 7 p.m., the agency said.

INITIAL POST: An Orting substation for Puget Sound Energy lost power at 2 a.m. Monday, causing an outage for 6,100 customers, the agency said.

Crews were repairing damaged equipment at 2 p.m. and expected the remaining 2,200 customers with outages to have power by 9 p.m., PSE said.

That included some Graham residents, who are also served by the substation.

Further details were not immediately available.
