Puyallup police still searching for vandals breaking car windows

Staff writerNovember 13, 2013

There have been no new reports of a man smashing car windows in Puyallup but police are still asking the public to call in tips.

The man is accused of damaging more than 50 vehicles since last week. Witnesses said he hung out of the rear passenger window of a moving red, four-door car and used a pipe or baseball bat to smash side mirrors and windows.

The vandals have not stuck to one particular area, police said. Multiple people were seen in the car.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police tip line at 253-770-3343. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
