Bonney Lake High teacher a finalist for national award

Tricia Littlefield, family and consumer sciences teacher at Bonney Lake High School, is a finalist for the Association for Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year Award.

She is one of five finalists competing for the national award, which will be announced in December.

Littlefield teaches life skills courses and early childhood education to about 300 students a year, has integrated technology and project-based learning into her classroom, helps train and support teen parents and has taken on leadership roles in career and technical education.
