Talk to state lawmakers

Lawmakers gathered in Olympia Thursday to hear updates on pressing issues. Back home, though, a few are also hearing from constituents.

Residents of the 25th District can get on the phone this evening and take part in a teleconference with Rep. Hans Zeiger, R-Puyallup. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and lasts an hour. To join, call (800) 759-5146.

On Saturday, Rep. Roger Freeman, D-Federal Way, plans a casual town-hall meeting in Milton for residents of the 30th District. It runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Dave's of Milton Restaurant and Lounge, 1502 11th Ave.

Later, three House Democrats are holding a town hall focused on income inequality and "the shrinking middle class," according to a news release from Reps. Jake Fey, D-Tacoma, Tami Green, D-Lakewood, and Laurie Jinkins, D-Tacoma.

It's Dec. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Tacoma Community College student center cafeteria, building 11. Jinkins and Fey represent the 27th District and Green represents the 28th District.
