Federal Way police trying to identify pair who kidnapped, robbed woman

Staff writerNovember 26, 2013

Federal Way police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who kidnapped and robbed a woman last month.

The victim was returning to her vehicle parked at the Commons Mall about 12:15 p.m. Oct. 4 when a man approached her, told her he had a bomb and gun and forced her to drive until they met up with another man.

The suspects forced the woman to withdraw $1,000 from her bank account and stole her diamond ring before fleeing on foot.

Both suspects are black and about 30 years old. The one who showed the victim the butt of his gun was 6-foot and 200 pounds with a foreign accent and gapped front teeth. He was wearing white tennis shoes with orange stripes.

The second suspect was shorter with kinky hair and a gold front tooth.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
