Olympia: Audubon chapter birds, then enjoys breakfast

The Black Hills Audubon Society will hold its monthly First Saturday Birding and Breakfast event Saturday.

Birders wanting to get an early start on the weekend can join members for a birding trip followed by breakfast at a local eatery.

For Saturday’s event, participants should meet at Tumwater Historical Park, 777 Simmons Lane SW, Tumwater, at 7:30 a.m. Beginning birders are welcome. There will be no expert guide on the trip.

Breakfast will be at RiversEdge Restaurant at the Tumwater Golf Course, 4611 Tumwater Valley Drive SE., at 9 a.m.
