Bellarmine volleyball coach shares national prize

Jody DeGroot, head girls’ volleyball coach at Bellarmine Preparatory School, has been selected as one of two 2013 National High School Coaches of the Year. DeGroot’s team finished the year undefeated, first in district, first in Class 4A standings and received a No. 3 ranking in the MaxPreps Excellent 25.

DeGroot will lead Team West in the annual All-America Volleyball Match & Skills Challenge to be held in Seattle in December.
