The News TribuneDecember 2, 2013

Hudtloff Middle School recently was named a KCTS 9 Pathways to Excellence Award winner. The award recognizes schools that are closing the achievement gap. The Pathways to Excellence Awards focus on schools that excel in tapping the potential of historically underserved populations.

At Hudtloff, the reading, writing, math and science scores of low-income students have risen and surpassed state averages. The State Board of Education achievement index also has identified Hudtloff as an Exemplary School.
