Police shoot, kill alleged robber in Tukwila

A shootout with police after an alleged robbery Saturday night in Tukwila left one man dead.

Police responded around 7:30 p.m. to reports of a takeover-style robbery at the Cash and Carry on Andover Park East.

Officers surrounded the store and when a suspect exited armed with a gun, shots were fired. The suspect was killed during the shooting. No one else was injured.

The officers involved were put on paid administrative leave while the incident is investigated, which is standard procedure.
