Man shot in neck on Sixth Avenue in Tacoma, police say

Staff writerDecember 8, 2013

Police responded to a man who was shot in the neck in Tacoma Sunday, but they said it wasn't clear what had happened.

Crews were dispatched about 2 p.m. to the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue, where they found a 33-year-old shooting victim, Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said.

The man went to Tacoma General Hospital, and Cool said she did not know his condition.

He was not cooperative with investigators, and police did not have any suspect information to release, Cool said.

Further details were not immediately available.
