Minor injuries, jail for man shot in neck in Tacoma

Staff writerDecember 9, 2013

Police said a man shot in the neck Sunday in Tacoma suffered minor injuries, and was treated and booked into jail on unrelated outstanding warrants.

Tacoma police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said crews were dispatched about 2 p.m. to the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue, where they found the injured 33-year-old.

He was not cooperative with investigators, and it was not clear what had happened, Cool said, but it appeared he had argued with acquaintances before the shooting.

Police did not have any suspect information to release.
