Magical Strings celebrate 35th Celtic Yuletide.

The Boulding family just keeps going, with three generations from this musical Olalla-based family playing their 35th Celtic Yuletide concert. This year features Irish dancers, singer Colleen Raney, guitarist Colm MacCárthaigh, fiddler Jocelyn Pettit and percussionist Matt Jerrell. 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13. $28 reserve/$20 general adults/$12 children (advance). Christmas Revels goes to Appalachia

The annual stage show of Yuletide-based folk song and dance, The Christmas Revels, opens this weekend with a production set in old-time Appalachia. Expect fiddlers, clog dancers and lots of merriment. 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 14; 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15; 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 and 18. $12-$31. Stroll Stadium’s Dickens Fest

Think strolling actors, carriage rides, Punch-and-Judy shows, carolers and indoor entertainment stages, with plenty of Victorian costume thrown in, and you have the annual Dickens Festival in the Stadium district.
