Recap: Saint Louis vs. Wofford

St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordair Jett led the way with 16 points as the Saint Louis Billikens defeated the Wofford Terriers, 66-52, in a non- conference tilt at Chaifetz Arena.

For the Billikens (9-2), Rob Loe added 14 points and Grandy Glaze pulled down 10 rebounds.

Spencer Collins led the Terriers (3-6) with 17 points.

SLU shot 41.7 percent from the field, including 3-of-12 from beyond the arc to open the contest. Wofford converted 45.8 and made 4-of-6 from 3-point range in the period. The Billikens opened the half on a 7-0 run and pushed their advantage to as many as 20 in the first half, taking a 35-27 lead into halftime.

In the second half the Billikens connected on 55 percent of their field goal tries. The Terriers struggled from the field, hitting on only 39.1 percent of their shots, although they did cut their deficit to five on several occasions but got no closer, as the Billikens held on for their third straight victory.

The Billikens dominated on the boards, outrebounding the Terriers 34-23. SLU also finished with a 19-8 scoring advantage at the free-throw line.
