GIG HARBOR: School district to host meetings on capital finances

The Peninsula School Board will hold a series of community meetings in January to ask for input on potential capital financing measures. In November, voters rejected a proposed $50 million tax measure for new and remodeled schools.

The meetings, all starting at 6:30 p.m., will be held:

 • Jan. 14, at Key Center Library, 8905 Key Peninsula Highway N., Lakebay.

 • Jan. 15, at the Boys & Girls Club, 8502 Skansie Ave., Gig Harbor.

 • Jan. 16, at Goodman Middle School, 3701 38th Ave. NW, Gig Harbor. Child care will be provided at this meeting.
