EATONVILLE: Columbia Crest STEM School receives state designation

December 16, 2013

The Columbia Crest STEM School recently was named a Washington state 2013-14 STEM Lighthouse School. Designated schools provide technical assistance and advice to other middle and high schools and communities that want to create a learning environment focused on STEM — science, technology, engineering and math.

The school was awarded an $18,000 grant, part of which is to be used to share best practices and the school’s STEM success story.
