An armed robber had a man and his girlfriend drive him a few miles in Tacoma at gunpoint, according to police.

The robber approached the man and woman at gunpoint in the 1500 block of Tacoma Mall Boulevard overnight as they were walking to their vehicle after leaving a nearby business, police said early Sunday.

The robber pointed the gun at them, told them to drive, and in the 5600 block of South Orchard Street demanded property from them and fled, according to police.

Police did not find any suspects.

Further details were not immediately available.
