A Pierce County sheriff's spokesman on Saturday reported an arrest in the death of a Gig Harbor man whose body was found outside the Fox Island Grocery in late November.

A store employee found the body of 23-year-old Jacob Glenn about 6 a.m. Nov. 21 in a nearby ditch and told a Washington State Patrol trooper who had stopped at the market for gas. Glenn had been stabbed.

Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said via telephone message Saturday that a suspect was taken into custody Friday night and booked into the Pierce County Jail. Further details were unavailable Saturday evening.
