Lions WR Johnson out for finale

The Sports NetworkDecember 29, 2013

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson will miss Detroit's season finale against the Minnesota Vikings due to a nagging knee/ankle issue.

Johnson missed time at practice this week because of the injury, which has limited him over the last three games, as the star wideout has accumulated just 12 catches for 193 yards in that span -- all losses that knocked the Lions out of playoff contention.

Johnson finished his season with 84 catches for 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was second in receiving yards behind league-leader Josh Gordon entering the final week of the season.
