Seahawks WR Harvin will play against Saints

Renton, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin will play in Saturday's NFC divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints after missing most of the season following hip surgery.

"He's back and ready to go," Seattle coach Pete Carroll said on Thursday. "We're anxious to add him to the mix."

The Seahawks acquired Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings in an offseason trade. He elected to undergo arthroscopic surgery in August, and has played in just one game since.

Harvin caught one pass for 17 yards and had a 58-yard kickoff return in a Week 11 win over the Vikings. But Harvin suffered a setback after the game with swelling and stiffness in his hip. He didn't practice again until last week.

"This team is set," Harvin said. "I'm just looking forward to jumping on the bus and enjoying the ride."
