Lynn Corliss, a marine biology professor at South Puget Sound Community College, will give the next presentation in the South Sound Estuary Association’s Discovery Speaker Series on Wednesday.
Corliss’ program is titled “Understanding South Sound Tides.” She will talk about what factors impact the tides in Puget Sound and why Olympia gets the highest tides in the Sound.
The event is free and open to the public.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the program running from 7-8:30 p.m. at the LOTT WET Science Center, 500 Adams St. NE, Olympia.
